Commissioned in 2015 by clarinetist Caitlin Poupard, Shimmer paints the picture of a peaceful landscape thriving with nature, ideal for meditation and self-reflection. The balanced and unobtrusive nature of the clarinet’s sound combined with the electronic processing aim to create a serene and tranquil timelessness that is vast in scope, yet intimate in style.
